COOKIE POLICY — WingmanPM

§1 General Provisions

1. This Cookie Policy ("Policy") is published by AgenticForce sp. z o.o., whose details are given above ("we", "us").

2. It explains how the website wingman.pm (the "Website") and the WingmanPM application at app.wingman.pm (the "Service") use cookies and similar technologies, such as local storage and scripts that store or read information on your device.

3. This Policy is based on Article 399 of the Polish Electronic Communications Law of 12 July 2024 (Prawo komunikacji elektronicznej), which implements Article 5(3) of Directive 2002/58/EC (ePrivacy Directive), and on the GDPR where cookies involve personal data.

4. This Policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

§2 What Are Cookies

1. Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit websites. They allow websites to recognize your device and remember certain information about your preferences or past actions.

2. Cookies serve various purposes, including remembering credentials, analyzing usage, personalizing content, and ensuring security.

3. We use both session cookies (temporary, deleted when you close your browser) and persistent cookies (remain on your device for a specified period or until deleted).

§3 Types of Cookies We Use

We use the following categories of cookies and similar technologies:

Default Settings: On the Website and in the Service, analytics and marketing technologies are off until you allow them. We do not use functional or personalisation cookies that require consent.

Website (wingman.pm)

wm_consent (cookie, set by us) - strictly necessary - stores your choice from the cookie panel - kept for 12 months, after which we ask again.
theme (local storage, set by us) - strictly necessary - remembers the light or dark mode you select with the theme switch; it is set only when you use the switch and stays until you clear your browser storage.
Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager (cookies whose names begin with _ga, set by Google) - analytics - measures how the Website is used; used only after you allow analytics.
Google advertising tags, loaded through Google Tag Manager (cookies whose names begin with _gcl or _gac, set by Google) - marketing - measures campaigns and ads; used only after you allow marketing and only where such tags are active.
Vercel Speed Insights (script provided by Vercel) - analytics - measures page loading performance; runs only after you allow analytics.

Google Tag Manager loads only after you allow analytics or marketing. Google Consent Mode then applies your choice per category: analytics cookies only with analytics consent, advertising cookies only with marketing consent. The lifetime of Google cookies is set by Google and described in Google's documentation.

Service (app.wingman.pm)

Sign-in and session cookies of our authentication service (Clerk) - strictly necessary - keep you signed in and protect your Account.
Error monitoring (Sentry) - strictly necessary for the security and stability of the Service - reports technical errors that occur in your browser; it is configured not to send personal data by default and does not record sessions.
Product analytics (PostHog) - analytics - shows us which features are used so we can improve the Service; runs only after you allow it in the Service. Before you decide, and if you decline, it collects nothing and stores nothing on your device except a marker recording that you declined. Your choice is saved to your account and applies on every device and in every Workspace you use; pages of the Service that you can open without signing in do not use it.

§4 Third-Party Cookies

Some technologies described in §3 are provided by third parties:

Google (Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Google advertising tags) - used only after your consent, as described in §3.
Payment: Paid Plans and Credit Packs are bought on Polar's checkout, a separate site operated by Polar Software, Inc. as merchant of record. This Policy does not cover cookies used on that checkout; see Polar's own notices there.
Third-party tools you connect: when you connect a tool to the Service (for example, by signing in to it during the connection), that tool's provider uses its own cookies on its own site under its own policy.

We do not control third-party cookies used on third-party sites. Please refer to the respective providers' privacy and cookie notices.

§5 Managing Cookies

You can manage cookies in several ways. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop the Website or the Service from working properly.

On the Website: use "Cookie settings" in the footer to change or withdraw your choice at any time.
In the Service: go to Settings > Privacy & legal and use the "Product analytics" switch under Privacy choices to change or withdraw your choice at any time.
In your browser: you can block or delete cookies and site data:

Google Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
Mozilla Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
Safari: Settings (Preferences) → Privacy → Manage Website Data
Microsoft Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Cookies and stored data

§6 Cookie Consent

1. When you first visit the Website, we display a cookie panel asking whether you allow analytics and marketing technologies. Nothing optional runs until you make a choice.

2. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time, as easily as you gave it, using "Cookie settings" in the footer. When you withdraw consent, we remove the optional cookies on the Website and reload the page.

3. Your choice is stored for 12 months; after that, we ask again.

4. Your choice on the Website covers wingman.pm only. In the Service, a banner asks for your choice about product analytics when you first use it; you can change or withdraw it at any time in Settings > Privacy & legal. Withdrawing consent stops collection and clears the analytics identifier in your browser.

5. We do not use cookies for purposes other than those described in this Policy without asking for your consent where the law requires it.

§7 Changes to Cookie Policy

1. We update this Policy when the technologies we use change and show the current version and its effective date at the top of this Policy.

2. We inform registered Users of material changes by email and in the Service before they apply.

3. If a change introduces a new purpose that requires consent, we ask for your consent again through the cookie panel or in the Service. Using the Website or the Service is never treated as consent.
